1.       Sterilization, anti-cold
Onion contains phytoncide such as allicin and so on, which has a strong bactericidal capacity and can effectively resist flu virus and prevent colds. Onions are the only plants that containing prostaglandin A, they are also natural blood thinners. prostaglandin A can expand blood vessels, reducing blood viscosity, and thus produce the blood flow which can reduce peripheral vascular and increase coronary, therefore prevent blood clots.
